- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 3-5 concurrent projects
- Partner with Stanford/MIT research labs for academic-industry collaboration
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor 8-person innovation lab in agile development methodologies
- Secure 3+ patents annually in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven track record launching 3+ commercialized tech products
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Strong background in ethical tech frameworks and responsible innovation
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR/STTR)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation environments
