The Role:
As the 2026 Architect, you will be responsible for the high-level technical strategy, ensuring our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and future-proof for the challenges and opportunities of the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with the company's vision for the year 2026 and beyond.
- Lead Innovation: Identify, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., advanced AI, AR/VR convergence) relevant to the 2026 timeframe.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, high-performance architecture that supports next-gen workflows and data processing.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable development sprints.
- Risk Management: Assess technical risks associated with emerging tech and implement mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical strategies to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders to secure buy-in for future initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a strategic or leadership role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Future-Proofing: Demonstrated ability to analyze and implement technologies that are currently in the research phase but poised for commercial viability by 2026.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
