Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the company's vision for 2026 and beyond, identifying high-impact emerging technologies.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research and development projects in emerging fields such as Generative AI, Quantum Algorithms, and Edge Computing to validate feasibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and executive teams to translate high-level futuristic concepts into actionable technical strategies and product features.
- Talent Acquisition & Mentorship: Recruit and mentor top-tier engineering talent capable of tackling complex, futuristic challenges, building a team ready for the future.
- Pilot Program Management: Oversee the deployment of experimental technologies in sandbox environments to test and refine concepts before full-scale rollout.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or a related technical field, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related STEM field; Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and next-gen computing architectures.
- Forward-Thinking Mindset: Proven ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies to prepare for the technological landscape of 2026.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive consensus.
