Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with C-suite executives to establish a comprehensive vision for the next two years, identifying key technological milestones and deliverables.
- Lead AI Integration Strategy: Oversee the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning into legacy systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Evaluate Emerging Tech: Conduct deep-dive research and feasibility studies on emerging technologies (e.g., edge computing, neuromorphic chips) to determine their applicability for 2026.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, product, and business development teams to ensure alignment on technical goals.
- Resource Allocation: Manage budgets and resources for R&D projects focused on futuristic infrastructure upgrades.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Nexus Horizon at industry conferences, publishing insights on the trajectory of technology leading up to 2026.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles, with at least 5 years dedicated to strategic planning and future technology forecasting.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architecture, AI/ML pipelines, and emerging hardware trends relevant to the 2026 timeframe.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and translate them into clear, executable technical strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
