Responsibilities
- Define the high-level system architecture for the 2026 Horizon platform, focusing on microservices and distributed systems.
- Lead the technical strategy for cloud migration and scalability, utilizing AWS and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI researchers, data scientists, and product managers.
- Ensure system resilience, implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and architectural reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies to propose cutting-edge solutions for future releases.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and systems design, with a focus on high-scale distributed systems.
- Expert proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Go, or Rust) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Proven experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments.
- Strong background in cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
