Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Define and execute the technical architecture strategy for Horizon Dynamics, specifically aligning with long-term goals for the year 2026 and beyond.
- System Design & Scalability: Design robust, high-performance system architectures capable of handling massive scale and integrating emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Edge Computing).
- Cloud & DevOps Leadership: Lead the migration to modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and establish CI/CD pipelines that accelerate deployment without compromising security.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Research and prototype the integration of futuristic tech stacks, ensuring our infrastructure is future-proof against obsolescence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical blueprints.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous security standards and data governance policies to protect our intellectual property and user data.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and serverless computing models.
- Future-Forward Mindset: Proven ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt architectures to meet future scalability needs (2026 vision).
- Programming Skills: Solid foundation in Python, Go, or Java, with the ability to write clean, efficient code when necessary.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
