Responsibilities
- Architect Zero Trust Frameworks: Design and implement scalable, future-proof security architectures that adapt to emerging threats and cloud-native environments.
- Predictive Threat Hunting: Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning models to identify and neutralize sophisticated threats before they breach the perimeter.
- Security Compliance & Governance: Lead the strategic roadmap for SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 compliance, ensuring our infrastructure meets future regulatory standards.
- Penetration Testing & Red Teaming: Spearhead annual penetration testing campaigns and red team exercises to validate the resilience of our systems.
- Crisis Management: Lead the incident response team during high-stakes security breaches, ensuring rapid mitigation and minimal business disruption.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of junior security analysts and collaborate closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CISM is mandatory; CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a senior architecture or leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, Bash scripting, and familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and SOAR platforms.
- Cloud Mastery: Proven experience securing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders.
