Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic R&D: Direct research initiatives focused on next-generation AI architectures, targeting deployment in the 2026 timeframe.
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant machine learning pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management and engineering teams to translate complex research into market-ready features.
- Model Optimization: Enhance model performance, reduce inference latency, and improve energy efficiency for edge deployment.
- Talent Development: Mentor a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Ethical AI Compliance: Ensure all AI models adhere to strict ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and deep learning frameworks. Experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI is highly desirable.
- Infrastructure: Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems with innovative technical solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
