Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain critical server systems, network connectivity, and hardware assets during weekend shifts.
- Ticket Resolution: Prioritize and resolve incoming IT helpdesk tickets and technical support requests with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- System Maintenance: Execute scheduled backups, patch management, and system updates to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security protocols, conduct access reviews, and respond to potential security incidents.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical logs, runbooks, and change management documentation.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the on-call team and stakeholders regarding system status and issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and remote troubleshooting tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
