As a Deployment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our software releases are seamless, secure, and efficient. You will work closely with our DevOps and QA teams to automate pipelines and manage infrastructure on the weekend, ensuring our production environment remains robust and up-to-date while our core team focuses on core development.

Responsibilities
- Execute automated deployment scripts and manage CI/CD pipelines during off-peak hours to minimize downtime.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with the QA team to validate release artifacts before and after deployment.
- Perform routine database maintenance and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
- Document deployment procedures and update technical runbooks for the weekend support team.
- Respond to critical alerts and troubleshoot infrastructure issues with high urgency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or a similar technical support role.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during the weekend shift.
- Strong communication skills to report technical status to the on-call engineering team.
