Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmap for 2026 market readiness
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Oversee $50M+ R&D budget allocation across innovation labs
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Build and manage world-class engineering teams specializing in futuristic tech
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
- Ensure compliance with evolving tech regulations and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of scaling R&D operations to $50M+ budgets
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, biotech integration
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier tech journals
- Experience with international tech policy and regulatory frameworks
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/C++ preferred)
