In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, FutureScale is looking for a Director of Strategic Roadmap to guide our organization through the next wave of innovation, ensuring we are not just ready for 2026, but are leading it. You will be responsible for identifying emerging technologies, assessing market shifts, and crafting a cohesive vision that aligns with our long-term goals.
As a pivotal member of our executive team, you will bridge the gap between high-level foresight and actionable execution, ensuring our infrastructure, product roadmap, and talent strategy are future-proofed for the decade ahead.
Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Technology Vision: Define and communicate a comprehensive strategic roadmap that aligns with FutureScale’s mission, focusing on key technological advancements expected by 2026.
- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Conduct deep-dive research on emerging tech trends, including AI evolution, quantum computing readiness, and next-gen connectivity, to anticipate market disruptions.
- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategic initiatives that leverage future technologies to drive competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with C-suite executives and department heads to ensure all organizational units are aligned with the 2026 vision and execution plans.
- R&D Governance: Oversee the allocation of resources towards experimental projects and R&D initiatives that have high potential for 2026 and beyond.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex strategic concepts to diverse stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- Strategic Leadership: 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, technology management, or executive consulting, with a proven track record of forecasting and implementing long-term roadmaps.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies (AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Cloud Infrastructure) with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly.
- Future-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think beyond the immediate horizon, with a keen interest in the technological landscape of 2026 and the years following.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and board members effectively.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize vast amounts of data into actionable strategic insights.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
