Job Description
We are on the precipice of a technological singularity, and Horizon 2026 Labs is building the vessel to take humanity there. We are seeking a visionary Chief Futurist & 2026 Systems Architect to lead the architectural framework of our next-generation intelligence infrastructure.
In this high-impact role, you won't just write code; you will define the rules of engagement for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Quantum-Cloud convergence. You will bridge the gap between theoretical physics, advanced machine learning, and scalable software engineering to build the digital backbone of the year 2026.
If you are obsessed with the future, possess a deep understanding of exponential technologies, and want to leave a legacy in the history of computing, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect the Future Stack: Design and oversee the implementation of the core infrastructure stack required to support AGI and Quantum computing in 2026, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability.
- Lead Strategic Roadmaps: Translate futuristic trends into actionable technical roadmaps, anticipating hardware-software convergence and neural interface protocols.
- Optimize Neural Networks: Lead the engineering team in optimizing deep learning models for low-latency, high-bandwidth environments, specifically targeting brain-computer interface (BCI) data pipelines.
- Quantum Integration: Spearhead the integration of quantum algorithms into classical cloud workflows, ensuring seamless hybrid computing environments.
- Foster Innovation: Build and mentor a world-class engineering team focused on experimental technologies and next-gen protocols.
- Security & Ethics: Define the ethical frameworks and security protocols for autonomous systems, ensuring responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years leading teams in AI, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing research.
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, Rust, and familiarity with TensorFlow/PyTorch for large-scale model training.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into long-term architectural strategies.
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems in real-time, often requiring novel approaches to existing paradigms.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from engineers to board members.
