Responsibilities
- Design and implement perception algorithms for multi-sensor fusion systems
- Develop real-time decision-making frameworks for autonomous navigation
- Validate system performance through simulation and physical testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware-software integration
- Research and implement machine learning models for object recognition
- Document technical specifications and contribute to patent applications
- Optimize system architecture for scalability and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in autonomous systems or robotics engineering
- Expertise in C++, Python, and ROS/RSS frameworks
- Strong background in sensor integration (LiDAR, radar, cameras)
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with cloud-based simulation platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Proven track record of deploying production-level autonomous systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
