Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI frameworks for environmental impact forecasting and mitigation
- Lead development of circular economy optimization algorithms using machine learning
- Collaborate with climate scientists to train predictive models for extreme weather events
- Architect carbon-neutral infrastructure automation systems using IoT and edge computing
- Present sustainability AI solutions to C-suite executives and governmental bodies
- Mentor junior engineers in responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in AI/ML with sustainability or climate tech focus
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, and geospatial data processing
- Proven track record of deploying production-level AI systems
- Strong knowledge of IPCC sustainability frameworks and ESG metrics
- Certification in Carbon Accounting (GHG Protocol) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for ML deployment
