Responsibilities

- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and deploy research models at scale
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in advanced machine learning techniques
- Develop ethical AI frameworks responsible for 2026 technology standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published 20+ peer-reviewed papers in AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks (Horovod, DeepSpeed)
- Track record of translating research into production systems serving 1M+ users
- Experience securing federal research grants ($500K+ principal investigator)
- Strong background in ethics and bias mitigation for large-scale AI systems
