Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for real-time autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop quantum-optimized machine learning algorithms
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research prototypes into production-ready solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and establish ethical AI governance frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through DARPA and NSF proposals
- Develop patentable technologies in explainable AI and federated learning systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow with publication record in top-tier ML conferences
- Proven track record developing production-grade AI systems serving 1M+ users
- Strong background in quantum computing principles or quantum machine learning
- Experience with distributed training frameworks (Horovod, Ray) and GPU/TPU optimization
- Deep understanding of reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio of open-source contributions with 1000+ GitHub stars
