Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum machine learning and AI optimization
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for real-world computational challenges

- Prototype and validate quantum-AI hybrid systems using cutting-edge hardware
- Secure research grants from federal agencies and private foundations
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Translate theoretical discoveries into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research (Qiskit/Cirq experience required)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or AI optimization
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500k+ preferred)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
