This role combines cutting-edge research with practical implementation, requiring you to: develop predictive models for societal AI adoption, design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems, and lead cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, ethicists, and futurists. You'll work in our state-of-the-art San Francisco facility with resources including quantum simulators and neurofeedback labs.
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive AI models forecasting technological and societal impacts through 2030
- Architect ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Lead multi-disciplinary R&D teams in prototyping next-gen AI-human collaboration tools
- Produce forward-looking white papers and policy recommendations for global tech summits
- Partner with government agencies and Fortune 100 companies to implement responsible AI roadmaps
- Drive innovation in quantum-AI hybrid systems and neuromorphic computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 5+ years AI research
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics, futurism, or quantum computing journals
- Expertise in predictive modeling and scenario planning for emerging technologies
- Proven track record leading cross-functional AI development teams
- Deep understanding of neural interface technologies and human-AI interaction
- Experience advising governmental or Fortune 100 AI strategy initiatives
- Strong background in AI safety frameworks and ethical algorithm design
