Responsibilities
- Design and lead research initiatives targeting AI applications for 2026 societal challenges
- Develop novel neural architectures and generative models for predictive systems
- Present findings at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.) and industry summits
- Partner with product teams to commercialize research outcomes
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Advise C-suite executives on AI strategy and ethical implications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing at NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR or equivalent
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, or multimodal systems
- Experience leading technical teams and managing research budgets
- Strong understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and governance frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and distributed computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into real-world applications
- Preferred background in climate tech or healthcare AI domains
