Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 AI innovation strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI applications (neural interfaces, predictive models)
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Author white papers and patents on AI ethics and governance frameworks
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental AI initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in AI/ML research with 3+ years in strategic planning
- Published work on AGI safety or human-AI symbiosis (NeurIPS/ICML papers)
- Experience with quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global regulatory landscapes
- Proven track record of scaling AI initiatives from concept to enterprise deployment
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
