Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models before deployment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical-by-design principles into AI development pipelines
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with policymakers, industry partners, and community groups
- Proactively identify emerging ethical challenges in AI and propose mitigation strategies
- Author thought leadership publications on responsible AI for industry conferences and journals
- Establish KPIs to measure AI system fairness and ethical compliance across product lines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of applied AI ethics experience
- Proven track record of designing ethical AI governance frameworks in regulated industries
- Deep expertise in bias detection methodologies for large-scale ML models
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Experience with cross-functional product development in tech or automotive sectors
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) or equivalent demonstrable expertise
