Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments on machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical design principles into AI development lifecycles
- Advise executive leadership on ethical implications of emerging AI technologies
- Create transparency protocols for AI decision-making processes
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Research and publish on frontier ethical challenges in AI deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation, fairness metrics, and algorithmic accountability
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI frameworks in production environments
- Strong background in regulatory compliance (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with large language model evaluation and alignment techniques
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics domain
