As part of our Future Ethics Lab, you'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to embed ethical principles into product lifecycles, conduct bias audits, and pioneer responsible AI adoption strategies. You'll directly influence how organizations navigate the moral challenges of advanced AI while driving industry-wide standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging global regulations
- Lead bias mitigation strategies for large-scale machine learning models across healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI-powered products using adversarial testing and scenario analysis
- Design stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI governance with regulators, engineers, and end-users
- Author white papers and policy recommendations for industry consortiums and government bodies
- Train cross-functional teams on ethical AI deployment and incident response protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for neural networks and large language models
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO 42001)
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed research on AI ethics or fairness
- Strong background in participatory design methodologies with marginalized communities
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, AIEI) or equivalent practical experience
