Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and implement mitigation strategies for ML models
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations in AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish transparent AI governance protocols
- Produce ethics impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments
- Monitor emerging AI ethics legislation and advise on compliance strategies
- Build cross-functional ethics task forces across engineering, legal, and public policy teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or tech policy roles
- Expertise in algorithmic bias detection and fairness metrics
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Published research or practical projects in AI ethics
- Knowledge of quantum computing's ethical implications
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI) highly valued
