Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with IEEE, EU AI Act, and emerging 2026 regulations
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across ML models and datasets
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into AI design sprints
- Create transparency documentation and explainability protocols for high-stakes AI systems
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams on ethical AI principles
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt compliance strategies proactively
- Drive organizational culture change through ethics training and awareness programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, machine learning governance, or compliance roles
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Experience with model interpretability tools (SHAP, LIME, Explainable AI)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Certification in AI ethics or data governance (e.g., CDEP, CDMP) preferred
- Published work on AI ethics or participation in ethics consortiums
