Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across ML pipelines
- Develop privacy-preserving protocols for data-intensive AI applications
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering/product teams
- Author transparent AI impact reports for regulatory compliance
- Advocate for ethical AI adoption through stakeholder education
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and update policies proactively
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for machine learning systems
- Familiarity with GDPR, EU AI Act, and emerging US regulations
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating ethical trade-offs in tech
- Experience developing AI ethics toolkits or frameworks
- Excellent communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
