Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative models
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Author white papers and policy recommendations for regulatory bodies
- Lead cross-functional workshops on responsible AI implementation
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical design principles
- Track emerging AI regulations and global compliance requirements
- Mentor junior researchers through our ethics fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years researching AI ethics, bias mitigation, or responsible ML
- Publication record at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, FAccT, etc.)
- Expertise in fairness metrics and adversarial bias detection
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks
- Exceptional written communication for technical and non-technical audiences
