Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives to identify and mitigate ethical risks in AI deployment systems
- Develop comprehensive ethical frameworks for generative AI and autonomous technologies
- Partner with engineering teams to implement bias detection tools and transparency protocols
- Present findings to stakeholders including C-suite executives, regulators, and academic partners
- Author white papers and policy recommendations for industry-wide adoption
- Mentor cross-functional teams on ethical AI implementation strategies
- Monitor global regulatory developments and adapt compliance frameworks proactively
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years of applied AI ethics experience
- Proven track record publishing peer-reviewed research on algorithmic bias or fairness in AI
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Strong programming skills (Python/R) with experience in ML model auditing
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies on AI governance initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-stakes tech environments
