- Conduct original research on AI transparency and explainability techniques
- Author white papers and position papers on AI ethics for industry conferences
- Advise product teams on ethical-by-design principles for 2026 AI deployments
- Establish third-party audit partnerships for AI model fairness validation
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in AI governance or responsible AI development
- Published research in top-tier ethics/AI journals (e.g., Nature Machine Intelligence)
- Expertise in global AI regulatory landscapes (OECD, UNESCO, WEF frameworks)
- Proficiency with bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies on AI policy
- Strong background in participatory design methodologies with diverse stakeholders
