Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments on predictive algorithms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into product lifecycles
- Establish compliance protocols for emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Lead stakeholder workshops on AI transparency and accountability principles
- Research and publish on societal implications of generative AI and quantum computing applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act) and risk assessment methodologies
- Proven track record in auditing machine learning models for bias and fairness
- Strong background in applied philosophy with focus on technology ethics
- Experience developing corporate AI governance policies and compliance frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on AI ethics or responsible innovation
