Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging regulatory standards (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Conduct algorithmic bias assessments across machine learning pipelines using advanced statistical analysis
- Develop stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI decision-making processes
- Create governance documentation including risk mitigation strategies and compliance matrices
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed ethical considerations into product lifecycles
- Monitor evolving AI ethics landscape and advise on policy implications
- Represent the organization in industry coalitions on responsible AI development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years in AI governance, ethics, or responsible AI implementation
- Expertise in bias detection methodologies and fairness metrics (AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, US Blueprint for AI Bill of Rights)
- Experience with AI model lifecycle management and MLOps ethics integration
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Published research or practical implementations in AI ethics preferred
- Proficiency in Python/R for algorithmic auditing tools
