Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems using NIST and IEEE standards
- Conduct algorithmic audits for bias, fairness, and transparency across machine learning pipelines
- Develop company-wide AI ethics training programs for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with emerging AI regulations and industry standards
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish ethical guidelines for generative AI applications
- Proactively identify and mitigate ethical risks in AI deployment strategies
- Represent the company at industry forums on responsible AI practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, compliance, or governance roles
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python for algorithmic auditing and bias detection
- Strong background in moral philosophy and applied ethics
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, CAPP) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating ethical AI implementations or policy contributions
