Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning models
- Establish transparent documentation processes for AI system decision-making
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ethical safeguards into development pipelines
- Advocate regulatory compliance strategies for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI adoption across departments
- Monitor emerging AI ethics legislation and update organizational policies accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, compliance, or responsible tech governance
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state-level laws)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Experience with AI system documentation and explainability techniques
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex ethical concepts
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CAIG, CSEP) preferred
