Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Advise C-suite executives on responsible AI deployment strategies
- Lead cross-functional working groups on AI transparency and accountability
- Author industry whitepapers on emerging AI ethics challenges
- Monitor global AI regulatory developments and adapt compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field
- 3+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics-focused roles
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ethical AI principles
- Proficiency in Python and bias detection frameworks (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in responsible AI (preferred)
- Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable engineering requirements
