Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026 product roadmap
- Lead risk assessments for autonomous systems using bias detection and fairness metrics
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with emerging global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Design audit trails and explainability protocols for deep learning models
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for diverse community feedback on AI deployment
- Drive industry standards through whitepapers and conference presentations
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing AI governance frameworks in regulated industries
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for ML models (Fairlearn, AIF360)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ethical AI implementation
- Published research on AI ethics or governance in peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency in Python for bias auditing and model interpretability
