Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory projections
- Lead cross-functional committees to audit AI systems for bias, transparency, and accountability
- Advise on policy development for emerging AI applications including generative models and autonomous systems
- Create educational programs for stakeholders on ethical AI principles and responsible deployment
- Conduct scenario planning for AI-related ethical risks and mitigation strategies
- Represent the organization in industry consortiums and regulatory discussions
- Monitor global AI legislation trends and adapt governance strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years of experience in AI governance, ethics compliance, or technology policy
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Proven track record of developing organizational AI governance policies
- Strong understanding of machine learning systems and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in AI ethics or governance (e.g., IEEE, EITC) highly desirable
