Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Lead cross-functional governance committees including legal, engineering, and social science experts
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments
- Develop transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) in regulated industries
- Establish audit trails for AI decision-making processes in compliance with evolving regulations
- Create educational programs for stakeholders on responsible AI adoption
- Represent the company in global AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record in developing ethical AI frameworks for commercial or research applications
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation techniques for machine learning systems
- Familiarity with emerging regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and global ethical standards
- Experience publishing peer-reviewed research on AI ethics or algorithmic fairness
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of quantum computing implications for AI ethics
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in tech environments
