Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging regulatory standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for fairness, accountability, and transparency
- Develop governance protocols for AI deployment in high-stakes domains (healthcare, finance, autonomous systems)
- Create bias detection and mitigation methodologies for large-scale AI models
- Establish stakeholder engagement processes for diverse community input on AI design
- Proactively assess societal impacts of emerging AI technologies through scenario modeling
- Represent Nexus Horizons in industry coalitions shaping global AI governance standards
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible technology leadership
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Experience with bias assessment tools (Aequitas, Fairlearn, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of technical AI concepts (ML architectures, neural networks)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical principles into actionable technical guidelines
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences (technical, executive, public)
- Published work in AI ethics or governance preferred
