Responsibilities
- Design scalable governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Lead stakeholder engagements to align technical solutions with ethical guidelines
- Develop bias mitigation protocols for high-stakes decision algorithms
- Conduct ethical impact assessments for emerging AI applications
- Establish audit trails for AI training data and model transparency
- Mentor engineers in responsible AI implementation practices
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to shape future AI legislation
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing AI governance frameworks at scale
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act and evolving US regulatory landscapes
- Published research on algorithmic bias or explainable AI
- Experience leading cross-functional ethical AI initiatives
- Strong background in policy development and stakeholder negotiation
