Our Austin-based team pioneers AI solutions for climate modeling and healthcare diagnostics. You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers and neuro-symbolic AI specialists to implement governance protocols that anticipate ethical challenges before they emerge.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce AI ethics frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000-2026 standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of autonomous systems and generative AI models
- Create bias mitigation protocols for federated learning environments
- Interface with regulatory bodies on AI policy development
- Design explainability interfaces for high-stakes AI decision systems
- Coordinate incident response protocols for AI-related ethical breaches
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech leadership
- Published work on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI
- Experience with ISO/IEC 42001 certification processes
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act and NIST RMF frameworks
- Technical proficiency in Python and model interpretability tools
