Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI safety frameworks and alignment strategies for Large Language Models and autonomous agents.
- Conduct rigorous audits and red-teaming exercises to identify potential biases, risks, and harmful behaviors in our systems.
- Translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical requirements for our engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers and legal counsel, to navigate the evolving landscape of AI regulation.
- Lead research initiatives into interpretability and model monitoring to ensure transparency in decision-making processes.
- Advocate for responsible AI practices across the organization, establishing a culture of ethical innovation.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or a related quantitative field with a focus on AI.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, policy research, or a related technical field.
- Deep understanding of machine learning principles, natural language processing, and neural network architectures.
- Strong background in ethical theory, specifically applied ethics in technology and AI safety.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of influencing technical strategy through policy and ethical frameworks.
