Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Conduct multidisciplinary research on AI's societal impacts across healthcare, finance, and governance sectors
- Develop real-time bias detection algorithms for high-stakes AI decision-making processes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams with ethical principles and regulatory requirements
- Create predictive models for AI-driven societal transformations and mitigation strategies
- Advocate for human-centric AI design in international policy forums and industry standards bodies
- Mentor emerging AI ethics professionals through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven expertise in developing bias mitigation techniques for machine learning systems
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics journals or conferences (NeurIPS, FAccT, etc.)
- Experience with participatory design methodologies for human-AI collaboration
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on real-world AI system deployments
- Fluency in Python and statistical analysis tools for empirical ethics research
