Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory standards
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineers to design ethical-by-default AI systems
- Proactively identify emerging ethical risks in AI development and deployment
- Create policy recommendations for AI governance and regulatory compliance
- Conduct scenario planning for long-term AI societal impacts
- Educate stakeholders on ethical AI principles and best practices
- Represent the company in industry ethics consortiums and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques for ML systems
- Familiarity with emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Strong background in philosophical ethics (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodology
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published ethics research or policy contributions
