- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical principles and regulatory requirements
- Author position papers on emerging AI ethics challenges for industry forums and regulatory bodies
- Establish monitoring protocols for AI system fairness, transparency, and accountability
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI legislation (e.g., EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Mentor cross-functional teams on ethical AI implementation best practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI ethics experience
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI frameworks in commercial environments
- Expertise in algorithmic bias detection and fairness metrics (e.g., disparate impact, equal opportunity)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes and standards (ISO/IEC, NIST)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work in AI ethics or responsible technology (peer-reviewed journals/conferences)
- Experience with participatory design methods involving diverse community stakeholders
