Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize vector graphics and canvas animations to ensure 60fps performance across devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate complex visual requirements into functional code.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless experience on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices for performance and accessibility.
- Debug and resolve complex rendering issues in cross-browser environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, specifically focusing on 2D graphics.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, SCSS).
- Strong understanding of the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and WebGL basics.
- Demonstrated experience with performance profiling tools and optimizing large-scale web applications.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
