Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D animations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize animation loops for 60fps performance on a wide range of devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate creative concepts into robust code.
- Utilize libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, or Pixi.js to enhance visual storytelling.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design integration.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to modern JavaScript standards.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on animation best practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on animation.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and HTML5.
- Proficiency in 2D animation libraries (GSAP, Three.js, or similar).
- Strong mathematical background, specifically in trigonometry and physics simulations.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating complex 2D motion design projects.
