Responsibilities
- Design and implement a resilient, scalable network architecture capable of handling 1M+ concurrent users across 16 stadiums.
- Oversee the deployment of 5G and edge computing solutions to enhance fan engagement and broadcast quality.
- Lead a cross-functional team of DevOps engineers, network architects, and security specialists.
- Ensure compliance with international data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA) for global broadcast streams.
- Develop contingency plans for disaster recovery and cybersecurity threats during the event lifecycle.
- Collaborate with city infrastructure planners to integrate stadium Wi-Fi with municipal networks.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or systems architecture.
- Proven experience managing large-scale events or complex enterprise deployments.
- Expert knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Certifications such as CCIE, PMP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and zero-trust architecture.
- Ability to travel to host cities for pre-event planning and site surveys.
