What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the architectural vision for Horizon Systems' core products leading up to and beyond 2026.
- Lead a team of senior engineers and developers to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and performance across all digital touchpoints.
- Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Distributed Systems) to integrate them into our roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.
- Establish best practices for code quality, documentation, and deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or visionary role.
- Proven expertise in system design patterns, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices.
- Strong understanding of scalability, security, and high-availability systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt architectural strategies accordingly.
