Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities aligned with long-term market evolution
- Produce visionary white papers and scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite stakeholders
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs focused on 2030+ technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles within tech/consulting sectors
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future technology implementations
